Introduction to the Great Get Together

What is this event?

The Great Get Together (21-23 June 2024) is the UK’s annual celebration of everything that unites our communities, inspired by Jo Cox’s belief that we have more in common than that which divides us.

This session provides an introduction to the Great Get Together, an overview of what it aims to achieve and how to get involved with the campaign as well as a chance to ask any questions you may have.

Who is this for?

This session is designed to support anyone who wants to learn more about the Great Get Together. It will be particularly useful for those looking to run initiatives or events as part of the Great Get Together (21 – 23 June) but also open to anyone who is curious about the Great Get Together.

What will you get out of it?

Our aim is that participants will leave having learned:

  • Why the Jo Cox Foundation runs the Great Get Together and what its aims are
  • How you can be involved with the campaign
  • What support is available to those running events
