We want less lonely, better connected communities across the UK, where everyone feels that they belong.
Jo Cox knew that developing social connections with people like us, and with those who are different, helps to build individual and collective wellbeing, trust, resilience and cohesion.
We nurture stronger communities through our local work in West Yorkshire and three national programmes: the Great Get Together, More In Common Network, and Connection Coalition.

Our programmes

Our work in West Yorkshire
We work locally to increase the social support networks and feelings of belonging of individuals in the area.

The Great Get Together
We organise the Great Get Together campaign bi-annually which inspires hundreds of community events that bridge divides and tackle loneliness across the UK.

More in Common Network
We run this national network made up of groups and partnerships that champion Jo Cox’s powerful “more in common” message in their communities year-round.

Connection Coalition
We convene this Coalition of member organisations from the community sector, through which we provide peer-support, promote opportunities, and influence national policy.

We want people working to create less lonely, better connected communities to be better equipped to do so. Visit our resource library to access valuable and practical resources created by us or those in our networks.
I now feel like no matter what you look like or where you may originally be from, we all have something in common and that’s what makes us feel like we belong
