On 16 June 2016, Jo Cox’s murder shocked the nation. Yet in the days that followed, people responded not with fear, but with something Jo believed in deeply: connection. Neighbours came together, differences were set aside, and communities chose unity over division.

Finding common ground through football
Our first of two new videos documents local football teams in Bristol playing against a team of refugees. It’s a powerful example of how when we put aside our differences and find common ground, we learn that we truly do have far more in common than that which divides us.
Leaders in public life from different faiths, beliefs and political traditions
Our second new video brings together five women serving in public life for a filmed conversation marking ten years since the murder of Jo Cox MP. Coming from different faiths, beliefs and political traditions, they reflect on public service, identity, leadership and belonging. They talk candidly about the scrutiny women in public life face, the responsibilities that come with representing communities, and how to navigate disagreement without losing respect.
