How can we create spaces for connection?

What is this event?

Winter doesn’t have to be lonely. Between 12-15 January 2024, the Great Winter Get Together will be inspiring communities to come together to connect at the coldest time of the year.

A key part of this is providing people with spaces for connection. This session is all about how we can provide these sorts of spaces and how to make them as effective as possible in supporting people to make meaningful connections. We’ll hear from three initiatives specialising in connecting people: our Connection Coalition, Warm Welcome and the Chatty Cafe Scheme.

Who is this for?

Anyone who wants to create a space for connection this winter. This could be a warm space, a chatty cafe, or any sort of Great Winter Get Together.
