What is loneliness and how do we address it?

What is this event?

Winter doesn’t have to be lonely. Between 12-15 January 2024, the Great Winter Get Together will be inspiring communities to come together to connect at the coldest time of the year.

This session brings together experts from the Campaign to End Loneliness, Youth Focus North East and other loneliness-focused charities to discuss what loneliness is and how we can support those who are affected by it.

Who is this for?

This session is designed to support anyone in the community sector who wants to learn more about loneliness and strategies to support those who are affected by it. While it will be particularly useful for those looking to run initiatives to support those affected by loneliness, those who simply want to learn more about it are more than welcome to attend.
