Common Room: Tackling community divides through environmental action

Join us in this session of our Common Room series to learn about how environmental social action can connect people in communities to reduce division and build trust.

• Spen Valley Civic Society will talk about how they developed the Jo Cox Community Wood in Batley and Spen to connect people through nature.
• Great Big Green Week will talk about their national campaign for community environmental action, which is the biggest-ever celebration of community action to tackle climate change.
• Climate Challenge College in Todmorden will tell us about training young people with skills for tackling climate change – from mushroom growing to sustainable fashion.
