We are delighted to spotlight a few of our most recent Jo Cox Foundation supporters: local band Clapham Watch, friend of the Foundation Tom Weller, and workout group Team Hench. A massive thank you to everyone who continues to champion Jo’s ‘more in common’ message in their own unique ways!
If you are interested in becoming a supporter while also engaging in physical activity, pledge to cycle for the 2020 Jo Cox Way. Join others around the world as they work to create and strengthen community through cycling in Jo’s honour.
Last month, the band Clapham Watch released their debut single ‘OK’ exploring themes of distance and loneliness. Inspired by Loneliness Awareness week and Jo’s mission of togetherness, Clapham Watch has generously committed to donate the revenue from the purchases and streaming of ‘OK’ to the Jo Cox Foundation. Support Clapham Watch and have a listen to ‘OK’ here!
Friend of the Foundation, Tom Weller, completed a 24 hour running challenge for this year’s virtual Run for Jo. Tom ran an incredibly impressive 141.3km! He was just one of approximately 1,000 individuals who took part in this year’s Run for Jo across the world, including in Australia and Vietnam.
Become a Supporter: The Jo Cox Way 2020
If you are interested in connecting with others through physical activity, join us from 22nd-26th July for the 2020 Jo Cox Way. While we cannot cycle from West Yorkshire to London in traditional fashion this year, we can CYCLE THE WORLD!
Pledge your miles on the Jo Cox Way website (any amount will do!) and join hundreds of others aiming to cycle 25,000 miles together.
For more information, listen to Sarfraz Mian, founder of The Jo Cox Way, and Kim Leadbeater, Jo Cox Foundation Ambassador and Jo’s sister talking about why The Jo Cox Way is so special, even if it is a bit different this year.
We look forward to seeing your pledges and riding around the world with you in Jo’s honour.
