UK Aid Direct launched the Women's Empowerment Framework
UK Aid Direct have been looking into grant holders one year on. The Women’s Empowerment Report, along with learning lessons, a podcast and infographics gives great insight and detail into how The Jo Cox Memorial Grant holders use Women’s empowerment in practice and how they seek to empower those they work with.
The Jo Cox Memorial Grants were created to support international projects working across two themes: women’s empowerment and preventing identity-based violence (IBV) and conflict prevention. We are continuously inspired to see how the grant holders' progress towards Gender Equality and carry on the legacy of Jo’s humanitarian work.
